so, initially I had the entire issue from even registering on the site to begin with! xD

Jokes aside, if you also have any of these issues ask Zenjirou if you end up with any similar issues.

I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh solely for what you call the 'Explorer' archetype, much like how everyone else was inspired to play the game yugioh, I grew up with the generation that watched it since Duel Monsters.

In all nostalgia aside, I've left playing duel monsters and came back to a meta where Qliphorts were just hitting their prime.

I started playing competitive yugioh at my locals, and I decided to start off with a relatively budget deck such as Lightsworns. At the time, Rulers weren't banned so I decided to add a dragon ruler mechanic to my deck and it worked like a charm.

At my first local tournament I had a score of 3/6. It seemed like a pretty bad score, but playing in the heart of downtown Toronto the level of playing was almost the equivalent of a YCS tournament and I couldn't believe I would even get so far as a couple wins with only a lightsworn deck!

From that moment on, I decided to solely focus on lightsworns and find ways to improve my deck much like they improve their decks in the anime. It was succeeding for some time, until they created a very much needed xyz card that lightsworns will never be able to receive in TCG (Exalted Minerva). Unless of course, you are willing to pay $2000 U.S. Dollars and buy it off Ebay.

Understanding this, I had to start from zero. I had to start a new deck, that I would need to master and would have potential. I don't like playing the decks that everyone else is playing and doing well with competitively such as PePe or Kozmos.

I'm the type of player who likes to break the meta, and bring out an original deck. From the anime, I was really intrigued by the D/D/D deck played by Akaba Reiji.

Once I played the deck a few times I grew to love the entire mechanic, so from that point on I've been making several test decks to improve it for the future structure deck that would be coming out in a few months.

In terms of teams and tournaments within DevPro, I will be joining them with my favorite deck as soon as I could solidify my deck into a solid competitive deck. I would be looking forwards to any upcomming tournaments this clan has to offer, as it servers both as a good practice for my locals as well as recognition points for my team here.

I hope you all enjoyed reading my introduction, and I hope to see you all soon!

Thanks for reading!

btw, I really can't do anything about my signature after at least a weeks period since I can't use external links.

It'll be fixed soon.
