Re: Request to be the leader
First and Foremost
Though the forum may seem incomplete (which it is) and though some aspects of the team may seem like they aren't being managed to optimum levels, you have to keep in mind that more or less the team is still brand new and pulling itself together. With only 5 acting admins, 2 of which handle macro-level issues like the forum and solving problems, we are doing our darndest to pull everything together in a ordered and timely fashion. We have a plan, what we need is people to join in and pitch in on the plan to get things really rolling. In other words, we are recruiting admins, which you can hopefully tell xD
Addressing Your Question
The rank of Owner is currently reserved for the one who originally created the team. The reason behind that? It was the creator of the team who came up with the original idea, purpose, and dream for the team and took the first step towards making it happen, or even offer good ideas. Our current hierarchy works by the Owner either making the team, or being directly appointed by the one who made the team, and on down the line.
However, the rank of Co-Owner is a rank that you could aspire to gain. It is the closest rank to the owner and allows for some of its own freedoms . The Co-Owner along with the staff also help advise the owner and execute the plans for the team. The Co-Owner also can act as the Owner should the owner be unable to show up for a while and make decisions that have to be made if it has to be done on the fly, so its probably the rank you want to shoot for.
We do need admins, but we also don't want to add random people to the job xD The question is, how do we know that you will lead the team competently and keep its original goals and values intact, or make changes with the genuine benefit of the team in mind? You can acquire the higher leveled jobs by one of two ways, by displaying how good you are by performing a normal administrative job adequately, or via interview. Those are the two ways you would go about acquiring a top-level job.
If you would like more clarification on the requirements for becoming a Co-Owner, have questions about our rank system and why it is the way that it is, or have a normal admin job in mind to start from and want its requirements broken down more clearly, PM me. If you would like to take up either a normal admin job or a top-level job and thus want to be interviewed or showcase your skills, PM Heya (or me, PM Heya first since he will have the final say in the matter).
Bottom Line
We need to know that you really will lead the team well. Don't get the wrong idea though, we want, need, and will be hard pressed without more admins, but we also want to be smart about who we give sensitive tasks to. Would you let a random guy drive your car just because he wants to drive it? Wouldn't you want to do something to be sure that they can actually drive in the first place and know why they want to drive it in the first place (they might want to use it for a bank robbery for instance)? Not saying you have any malicious intent, but that analogy is meant to highlight our reasoning behind not just handing certain jobs out like a flier.
Hope I helped! ^^

Re: Request to be the leader
Do i not fit the job? I agree with you, Yohanas. I really think that i'm a joke of a leader. So let me abuse my leader authority and make a decision.
Abusing my power, i have decided that you are ineligible to obtain any of our admin positions. Guess what? Not the owner is included!
I guess that summarizes my tyrant and absurd leadership, right?

well, you know how Hexoc-Shade is the leader on DN so Yohanas could be the leader on a different yugioh program
Re: Request to be the leader
I just gave him the benefit of the doubt assuming he has something good to bring to the table. Specifically what he thinks he can do better can come up during his interview ^^
But really though, there's gonna have to be one heluva reason to justify replacing our current leader when s far as everyone can tell (including myself) he and the rest of our current admins are as a team performing well, if you don't want to go out on a limb and say we're over committed.
But if he has something to bring to the table may as well hear it for all its worth right? His criticism as a member of the team at the bare minimum is valuable, so long as he can explain what he means of course. I don't think he meant ill with what he said, though it did come across as arrogant >.> but as the seeker of info and improvement I'd at least lend an ear to what he has to say or offer ^^ he might have a good idea.
In other words, why does he think this team can benefit from having him as an admin? That's what I was interested in ;3

Re: Request to be the leader
I guess you're right. Because of that critisism, there doesn't seem to be a reaso for him to be the leader or an admin at all
Re: Request to be the leader
And even if he has something to bring up, i can't trust such person. If you insult me, then i probably can't count on you on anything let alone make you the owner of th team.

Re: Request to be the leader
You're not a head admin. You're the first rank of admins. Head admins are rank 10 and higher i believe

Re: Request to be the leader
Ok I figured it out. The forum tries to do its rank via number of posts, since I didn't set that, it was making the last rank I made as the rank someone who met the minimum posts required (which defaults to 0)

He's the team leader, they can say that kind of stuff when the situation calls for it, like it did.YohanasPlanker240 wrote:who the hell is heyagamer and who does he think he is to say i cant be the leader of the team
