serious banlist question

Ok, got into a debate over the new list posted by konami. as everyone knows, in the US, the Dimension of Chaos Sneak Peek is this weekend. The list isnt effective until the 9th of november. in my area the sneak ppek is on the sunday after halloween, the 1st of november. my friends and peers are trying to tell me that i got to use the new list for that tourney and i am refusing to.

thoughts on this? i need help to settle this because i dont know about anyone else but i wanna run my qlis the right way one more time

The new banlist is stupid. The three top decks got knocked down. ROTA at 1 is just terrible. i want to play nekroz however I can't. I will fo the same as you and play with the current banlist. Atleast towers is finally banned lol.

yes i agree it is stupid. they didnt really have to hit towers, that just leaves Skybase open, it is al most as bad actually. and it frees a space for a possible god card too

Towers is too strong. I am angry that shurit got banned, unicore and brio were limited and ROTA was limited. Nekroz are worse than qli now. Atleast you still have skybase

thats about it, i lost a scout, thats one of the main few cards the deck absolutely needed. nekroz owned the meta far too long, it was coming regardless.

Nekroz came after qli so qli have been meta longer.

If the choice was mine, I would keep the current, since the new still isn't effective and Nekroz and Shaddoll players deserve to say goodbye to their decks before the guillotine oficially drop over them.

Nekroz and Shaddoll players are innocent. Every October banlist, loads of decks get crushed. It isn't fair on the people who play those decks. I wonder if Konami will make a new broken deck. Also btw you forgot qli. They got hit the most. Towers got BANNED

Most big tier1-2 decks are dead. Now my Infernoids will be sexy af.

Kozmos and pepe magicians will be best when pepe comes out. They will be the only decks played. Infernoids I'm not so sure about

I guess PePe will stay superior against Kozmo, even without Pendulum Sorcerer. But if Sorcerer get to TCG in the next sets, it will be even more overkill. Next format is looking nothing promissor, unfortunely.

But I'd say you should use the list everyone is familiar with. This list was a power shifter, meaning it seems like Kunami made it with the idea of creeping the current meta out in mind, kind of like how once there was teledad, then teledad became no more. Once there were spellbooks, then spellbooks were no more. Once there were chaos dragons, then they fluctuated and came and went even though Red-Eyes DMD has been at 1 for the longest xD

In other words: This list is basically a conspiracy to wipe the meta slate clean in preparation for a new meta. Its just Kunami's business plan xD If you wanna play to have fun in the tourney, play the old list (it for better or for worse was an ok list) but if you want to get prepared for the future / compete seriously for the tourney, play the new list.

I'd rather play the new list. Even though it's much worse on people who compete heavily, it opens a lot of opportunity to feel out what the game is going to turn into over here which will come whether you like it or not.
